Hello once again! As the holidays approach us once more, we on behalf of survival staff would like to wish everyone an Early Christmas and a happy new year! Every Christmas we like to deliver presents to those who reply to this thread, but I'm going to spice up a couple things rather than just throwing a present in your face.

• This year, to the people who want presents, I want them to not only reply to this thread, but to also create some form of decorated Christmas tree so that I can actually put presents under it on Christmas day. You can put your /home there to make my job easier or keep it relatively close to your /home, it really doesn't matter. If there is another way to get to your tree via warp please provide it in the reply to let me know in advanced. The presents are also a 3x3x3 so, make it somewhat big.
• Contest: To the person who makes the best decorated tree, i will reward them with something extra so get building! The Christmas tree contest will be...

Alright, we've done this enough. You know the drill Prize distribution system recap:

• The top 3 monthly voters get in-game trophies on survival that they can cherish for years to come, along with a podium display at the hub for the next month.
  Note: I realized a moment ago that I haven't actually been giving trophies out on creative, and keeping a single item handy on a creative server is kind of ridiculous, so they will officially only be give out on survival from now on (placed in people's enderchests).
• Those with at least 200 votes will receive 7,500 rupies on survival.
• Those with at least 150 votes will receive 5,000 rupies on survival.
• Those with at least 100 votes will receive 2,500 rupies on survival.
• Those with at least 50 votes will receive 1,500 rupies on survival.
• Another Note: If anyone can think of an equivalent prize to be given out on creative (since rupies don't do you much good there), feel free to post in this thread. Otherwise, I'll...

What's New:

• Finally have a name for "the vote plugin"
• Lottery items now persist through restarts
• Addition of "/votetop" command
  • Can be used for monthly votes, total votes, or VotePoints by changing the first argument
    Eg. "/votetop monthly" OR "/votetop total" OR "/votetop points"
  • Takes an optional index for the second argument to determine which ranks to display
    Eg. "/votetop monthly 20" displays this month's #11-20 top voters
• Shop is now stocked and fully functional
  • Like before, "/voteshop" command opens the shop
  • Items are shown with a description, cost, and duration and can be purchased by left clicking
    
  • If an item is already active, you won't be able to purchase it again until it's worn off
  • Active items and their respective durations appear when you join the game and when you use the "/vote" command
  • Shop items expire exactly duration after activating them; in other words,...

Dynodamon has graciously researched a good 1.7.10 pack and updated the Feed the Beast server to get people back into it. Currently we are running a 3rd party pack, that's both an interesting mix of mods and amazingly stable. The the first 1.7.10 modpack on the FTB launcher with all the greatest released 1.7.10 mods.

• Install and launch FTB Launcher (http://feed-the-beast.com/launcher)
• Got "3rd Party Packs" Tab
• Click "Pack Codes"
• Use the name "MechanicalTitan"
• Scroll down in the list on the left and you should see "Mechanical Titan (v2.1.16) ..."
• In the top where it says "Recommended Version", change that to 2.0.16
• Click Launch

imaxorz has been bringing up discussions recently with the staff on different temporary perks which can be bought by anyone through the shop. The server still needs money to continue in operation and needs to properly reward people who wish to donate.
