I think this may work better as a series as compared to a movie. Easier on the editors anyway, and helps give us a better timeframe to do it in. Not to mention, for what is essentially an indie crew, very few people would want to sit down and watch something of this length in one sitting. I'll work on a script now, fleshing out the concepts from before.
I would prefer it if we kept it accessible to the younger audience though, and not R rated. I've already got the opening scene written anyway.
Ok I got a rough script 924 words so far. And just a little section of the whole movie. ShadeCrest Movie script. Scene one City in the background is burning while an army of invaders takes over. With everything in peril people start gathering thier supplies and escaping in boats. Camera pans onto the main character running. Narrator says "My name is john, and all I want is revenge on the army of the north. Narrator goes into first person and says about the past. "10 years ago in the governors meeting. The people of the north wanted to make one government. The west south and East agreed. When it came to the vote the north were hoping to win. But the governor of the south won the election. The north people became hostile and that night the leader of the north slit the governors throat. From then on it has been a war between the same 2 nations. The west people joined the northerners. While the east joined the south. It is still a war of hostility. Scene 2 On a boat the main character leaves and halo unforgotten starts to play. We have multiple shots of him on the boat. We have the island appear in the distance. John:where am I Johnwalks into a political info building) Assistantyou are in Charde.) the last city owned by the south. Ginger:John your here now. Come follow me I have something to talk about. Johnfollows) Ginger:we have something to ask of you. John:what the hell do you need me for? Ginger: our top scientists have discovered something that will help us win the war. John:and that is? Ginger:nether rack John:to do what! Ginger: make swords of course. The northerners are not very good at surviving fire attacks. John: so what do you need me to do then. Ginger:we have set you a team. We need you to find and harvest as much nether rack as you can so we can make bulk swords in case we get attacked. We already have miners mining lots of iron for tanks and other sort of vechiles for the big attack. John:so where is this so called "team" they are setting up camp in the nether. Ginger:I'll show you to the portal. At the portal the scene ends. Scene 3 Arrives in nether John: ooh this is a fancy place Skittles:meow. Thetechgeek: thank you, you will be staying here for the next 2 weeks while we harvest this patch. Legend:incase you didn't know we are the 2 lead scientists and miners in this discovery. Johnk so when does mining start. Tech:tommorow at the earliest. We are having trouble getting the temperature bubble to work properly. All actors lead off from stage into a room where the scene ends. Scene 4 They wake up John:morning Tech:none of this nice buisness we need to hurry get mining. Grab pickaxe and goes outside and starts mining the area. Shot of mining goes I to timelapse with the days appearing as titles. Shot ends and then the actors John:well I won't be participating in the war now, my backs killing me. Tech:suck it up princess Legend:think of those iron miners, this is easy stuff to collect. First episode done. Scene 5 Back in the over world. In factory nether rack is moving through pipes and into a machine which turns them into red textured diamond swords. John:so if we are going to win how many people do we have? Mayor:depends. Mayor:it can range depending on what happens during the time between now and then. Narrator:little did they know that the north people were experienced in machinery and high tech contraptions. A shot of the north city panning. Looks evil and dark. Then a pan of the south city. Narrator:the last 2 city's are struggling for the others city's. But a tale was about to unfold for lucky john. Scene 6 A lab where the southerners are making a contraption. John:what is this Ginger:this is the lightning gun 1.0 Tech: it can shoot lightning. Legend:I designed it Skittlesturns into a human) Skittles: haai! Everyone turns to look. Meanwhile.. A shot of the plains. Between the city's. Shot inside the city of the north where they are training their army. The ruler looking at the south. And ginger look as at the north ruler. Scene 7 Inside the town hall There is ginger on a stage with legend. Ginger:settle down everyone. Ginger:I have big news. Legend:tommorow we strike the north and today we will set up our trenches and ready our defences. Everyone grab your best armour and your nether sword. Seal your houses. Ginger:let's win this war. Legend:now importantly, any questions. John:umm, who has the lightning gun. Ginger:me of course. Ginger&legend:now go prepare for war. Scene 8 Shots of the gates opening and the people pulling loads. Horses and people moving. The trenches are being. Dug. This scene is a pan of people getting ready. With harry potter music. I can't remember the name. Suspense strike at the end. Scene 9 over a ridge comes the army for the north. They wait. Ginger: CHARGE,!!!!! Then I massive length scene of people fighting. People on all of shadecrest that day might have to be involved. Health boosts will be given to make it seem it bit better. Machines and things flying everywhere? Scene 10 The north leader is the only north person alive. But he uses his staff. And summons a tall creature. A monster. Ginger John tech and legend and skits shooting arrows at the creature.trying to kill it. TimNerd runs up and starts battling north leader. I knock the leader out but he teleports. Away. End of first EP NEXT EPISODE ABOUT HUNTING FOR THE NORTH LEADER. AND KILLING THE MONSTER
