Item Frames

Hi, I'm not sure where to post this, but I assume this is the right place to request that we can use item frames, In the snapshot, you can use them to make nice redstone contraptions, (EDIT: My spellcheck assumed that I misspelled "stonkered" when I said redstone...) And this is removing that feature.
I wish for item frames to be back.

 

No, they were removed due to a dupe glitch that involved them. It's caused the server to become corrupt once already (lots of people lost lots of stuff) so we disabled them to prevent it in the future.

What, on vanilla? If it's because of a duping glitch, there's also one involving nether portals, and one I found involving slimeblocks. Are those banned?

See? Ban the people who abuse them, and let the redstoners and designers use them for decoration and secret entrances.

I'm afraid it doesn't quite work like that. By the time we ban someone, the damage has already been done. Would you prefer item frames, or having to start completely from scratch due to a corrupted map?

Well, just watch out for the methods I mentioned, as neither is difficult nor very time consuming.
