This is not the place for that. Cheer up, get drunk, or get out. If you don't like the troll boards, don't read em'. Simple.
Again, I think the games like the penny and other stuff like that are awesome and cool. Those kind of things should just move to "Off Topic" in my opinion.
I was just saying replace the troll board title with game because we have so many active games and it would be better not to crowd offtopic
May I ask why it would be a good idea to remove? Every troll here is a troll that is not in OTHER subforums, annoying Cyber
The thing is CyberVic, the community you wish to represent is comprised of a proportion of people who do find this stuff amusing. I can't say I'm one of them but I (kind of) respect their right to express whatever stoopid thought crosses their minds . I have just learned to ignore this section of the forums.
All I'm proposing to do is consolidate the Off Topic and Trolling boards since fundimentally the are the same thing. What I'm suggesting eliminating is the endorsement of actual trolling. Being silly and posting silly off topic threads is fine. People can do that in Off Topic. A "Trolling Board" by that name is detrimental to advertising the server to players who don't like trolls. It's all about community management, forum management, and marketing.
Are you saying that you liked being (actually) trolled in http://www.shadecrest.com/site/threads/5905/ ? For the record... Most of the troll board threads are not actually trolling, they are just random. Calling it random would be a /b/ad idea though. I don't see why the question game, change a word, and continue the story threads (and others like them) can't just live in OffTopic. Really, the only new posts we get in there are spam posts from bots, so it would be a nice change of pace to have legitimate threads in there. -edit: derp-
To be honest, yea, actually. Not then, of course, but looking back, I had no idea what was going on, and it was actually very funny.
Cyber doesn't like threads that are where they don't belong; and wanted to clean up the forums. I'm sure he appreciates how youth "communicate", but all he said was that he wanted to combine two areas of the forums that people were using interchangeably anyway. You know, the concept of "efficiency" and such.
