Suggestion to change of Forum Etiquette Policy

I am aware, in my opinion it will probably never return to its current state. I still like to hope it will though

While I agree Shadecrest has it's problems. Fighting for positive change in the community ( I'm fighting for civility and non-stupidity in the form of signatures on the forums ), is something I'd expect you'd be in favor of. Changes like asking people to not be "total nobs" with their signatures and make giant 500 x 800 pixel animated walls of bullshit isn't asking a lot. It will have a positive effect on the majority of the community if we start taking steps to reverse the Troll culture that exists here. Signature abuse is part of that troll culture.

 

I think that Slebert's sig size (I do not know how to check) should be the limit. There are a lot of problems, and I think that with time, they will be taken care of. We not only need staff to fix it, we need regular players (such as you and I) to support those staff members. We have lost quite a bit of staff recently, and I do not know whether or not it has to do with the community's recent attitude, but it calls for even more support and gratitude from us members. Lastly, please do not bring up trolling, it just attracts more.

 

I would agree that Slebert's sig is fine in size and content. As far as supporting staff. I do in any way I can.

 

Um... Considering he posts a metric buttton every day, and pretty much every other post in every thread is his, this is rather annoying....

After the post before that one, no one said anything about your signature. After the shut up about me' the 'if I continue to be attacked' and 'don't get onto me about it anymore' weren't really necessary, no one said anything D: Unless they deleted posts which is silly because then it looks like people are just talking to themselves.

 

I just think common sense should be used. For those who have no common sense others should perhaps tell them their signature is big. I would prefer if people didn't use BIG gifs as their sig... Little ones I don't mind and if picture restrictions were out in then it doesn't really matter

 

As far as GIFs are concerned the file size should be limited as well as the dimensions. I find having to load a 4MB GIF just to scroll past a person's post pretty frustrating.

 

I think most people with a Gif for their sig is pretty cool but yeaaaaah.
