welp there is still the matter of smelting and price changes, not to mention the farms themselves are game breaking with the amount of profit they can produce.

who cares if you have a bagillion ingots. If all the stores only sell buy ores let them build farms and trade among the players gold and iron ingots......at a reduced cost per ingot im sure. only thing i ask is make the iron golem farms underground. and no portal pigmen farms

Who said decent? We have an economy, but a decent one requires competition. What we need is a shopping mall, so players can own small shops and directly compare their prices with others. (I may or may not be building one now, although materials used means it isn't feasible as a survival build)
Depends on what sort of store you run, location, and how often people visit. It should only be something like 150r a day tho. were I in charge of it.
