And pyro just saying when gold prices dropped so did diamonds there was a direct correlation between the two. Dropped one the other dropped soon after.

If you're talking about the drop from 100r to 25r that was a change in the actual value of a rupie so it would only make sense for diamonds to cost less rupies.

 

Well yes but there was no lowering of anything else so towny continued to go up and more diamonds got circulated so now it is at the point it is worth nothing.
