Suggestions from mrtree!!

Can we have a vote on the proposed changes to give Max, Admins & mods an idea of how many are with/against it ?

Someone please set up some voting.

The voting will also be a test of active forum members. In other words, ppl who want to keep up to date on what is happening on ShadeCrest. People should be on the forums on a regular basis !

 

I would also like to put out there that server that do do the restarts every now and then are not as organized as Shadecrest is, and it therefore might not have the same effects.

 

How about the admins vote on a few select non-staff members to go on a search for clearly abandoned structures/random blocks/alone buildings of banned players/etc and give them like WorldEdit, but set a limit on the amount of blocks that can be changed at once (to prevent any 'mistakes') and they can remove the stuff. Also, hawkeye could help here too.

How about the architects, they can truly decide whether something is nice or not, and don't they already have world edit?

 

I think only like Zyenide does. I still think this is a chance to see who the staff trusts.

 

well... we just had an architect get banned for abusing powers. as much as they may have a good eye for things, there's still some that are bad, just like vips or regular players.

I guess I will lock this thread, if any of you feel strongly about maybe a clear lets get a poll going. You know how I feel, its just an idea until we get it moving.

I don't agree. I feel the problem here is the destroyed land, not what people have.

Max's suggested method is a close compromise to what mtree is asking..(all but the main buildings gone).. although Max might suggest other tweaks to add to his plan?
Like I'm curious what would happen to Towns? Mainly because I'm concerned about possible grief to towns main structures.

Maybe someone could make a vote on this ?
