Formatting Coloured Text on Signs

    Has there been a change to sign text colour formatting? Tried using vanilla colour formatting codes §0, §1, §2.. and they all came out black. Tried the and char &0, &1 &2.. and that didn't seem to work either. Using acacia signs if that makes any difference.

    Well from doing a bit of googling it seems you can’t paste Unicode into signs any more so that explains why I can’t use vanilla formatting. I’m guessing the plugin that enabled setting the colour with &n was deprecated.

    Was using these characters ▁ ▄ ▀ █ to make a 10x8 pixel grid on the sign. It just works better if you can set the thin spacing character to a colour that blends into the sign better.
