We have the server, we have an ip (vanilla.shadecrest.com), but every iteration of this server has fallen apart because it competes too much with Survival. What do?
That would take a lot of setup and need dedicated server staff -edit- Also, servers running spigot (ie using plugins) would not need the IP, they'd just be connected through the lobby.
I might be able to do self claimed region protection with command block magic, then we could just run an unmoderated vanilla server and advertise on a separate mcforum thread
I like the protection idea, however, since it is vanilla it should stay as vanilla as much as possible..example adding alot of plugins, I do like the idea of it having a separation from the other 2 servers just a little bit tho, maybe have a post to bump on pmc or something that'll make folks who are looking for a vanilla server to say wow when looking for one, whenever I'm looking for other "on the side" servers I look at the banner, and description about the server on pmc and check the forum for them, like other folks do lol Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
From what I've seen, there's a lot of appeal to collaborative vanilla, and the only way to achieve that without NSA levels of surveillance is with some form of preemptive protection. After all, you can't roll back griefs, because you can't have plugins for a I you what how why does this isn't even what the fuck I DON'T GET IT If you are trying to add anything, PLEASE proofread your posts and form a coherent thought. All I can gather is separation=good. Probably.
We could do a skyblock survival server that uses the same sorta plot system so multiple people may do skyblock survival at the same time.
oiShocKWavesv What the hell how did you like the post within a minute of it existing? If it's skyblocks, it's plugin controlled. Might as well have proper rollback support rather than a hacky command block system. Again though, staffing and setup.
We could instead of just skyblocks we could do a monthly vote and rotate the map we have on it. Granted that may be to complicated for this
Lmao apparently I'm not really ready to make a whole lot of sense yet....forgive me plz Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
