This is primarily for players that have recently joined our community. As I've seen this occur more and more frequently, I find it necessary to inform you all that, when making a modrequest, the request should be filed in the immediate area of the issue you would like fixed. If you're having issues with a chest, file the request in front of the problem chest. If you've been griefed, stand where the damage is as you make your modreq. If you feel more information than can be fit into a modreq is required, leave a few signs with the additional details at the location of your request as needed. These little things will help us better serve your needs especially if you are not online at the time we are handling your modreqs. Thank you, SCK
N2Mining Go for grief reports if it is a complicated/extensive problem. Otherwise pick what you want, we check both.
Bc I now feel less awkward saying this bc others have now posted. The reason behind this is because staff can teleport to the location of a modreq. That's how we (they now) check plots on creative and such. Not doing it at the location means a fair amount of time for staff to find the location you're talking about; if they can be bothered at all.
... Forgot that mods don't have arbitrary teleport powers, whoops. N2Mining New suggestion: if you are on survival, use modreq as much as possible! Lol The only staff rank on vanilla can teleport, so coords in a grief report are fine.
May we be granted the perms to teleport to players when need be? I can think of more than one occasion where it would've been very useful and efficient.
