First Start Starting up Teamspeak for the first time you'll see the Setup Wizard.... (you can also reach the setup wizard over Settings->Setup Wizard 1) Select Next (in case you already did the basic setup you can go directly to Step 11) 2)Insert your Nickname (preferable your InGame Nick for Minecraft 3)Click on Next 4) Here you can decide on voice Activation or Push to Talk Voice Activation: No need to press anything to talk, but wrongly set people won't either hear you, hear you badly, or hear too much. (like every single thing happen around you) Push to Talk: you need to press a key to talk, quiet easy if you have a mouse with 5 or 6 buttons, you can just set one of them. Advantage is that your voice will be transmitted when you want to and only then. 4b) Click on 'no hotkey assigned' (or whatever is written at that position) and click after that the key you want to activate your micro with 5) click next 6) Use this opportunity to test if your settings are correct. Click begin test. a) Voice activation: Just talk, and and drag the triangle like things to left and right until the green lamp only activates if you are really speaking. b) Push the button of your choice (in my case i selected num + numernpad 7 to activate it) and talk. 7) If content with the result press next. 7+) On the next screen (no screenshot from you) you can select hot-keys for muting sound and microphone (later only when voice activation is selected). If you don't want a hotkey for muting microphone simply click next. If you need one select a hotkey the same way as in 4b) 7++) Select if you want the female or male voice Pack. Just click "Next". 8 ) Optional activate one or both of those settings, the descriptions, if it doesn't say you everything i can add comments about them later on demand. Then click next. 9)Select options as in the screenshot. 10) Click 'Next' Adding ShadeCrest If Booksmarks didn't open or you are starting from here. Select Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks (alternative: pressing ctrl+b) 11)Select 'Add Bookmark' 12)Click on the nearly created Bookmark 'New Server' 13)Click on 'More' 14) Enter the Server Data as in the screenshot. 15) Make sure your InGame Nick is here (Minecraft) 16) Enter the serverpassword (well You can find it here) 17) Make sure this is selected. 19+) Once you are connected to the server (you can reach the bookmark manager as described above) you can click this while being in a channel, you'll automatically join this channel every time you start teamspeak then) 18) Press ok Restart Teamspeak, everything should be fine now. =) [sub]Pictures uploaded using ImageShack.us[/sub] If you got any questions / any comments or if you want to point out one of the hidden spelling-errors, feel free to.
