What do you eat for school lunches?

I need inspiration. If you buy lunch I don't care what you eat, I need ideas of what to buy to pack. Healthier is better. Not tasting like sawdust is preferable.

    Heres my EDC:

    • One homemade Turkey or Ham sandwich, usually includes lettuce
    • One water bottle, usually refillable because you have to save the environment (of course)
    • One Smartfood popcorn or Cheez-its
    • One bag of pretzels
    • One cereal bar of some sort
Ya basically I have a boring meal but it tastes good

I've been having two fruit cups and a granola bar but that's probably not nutritious enough. :v

Well, my school actually has good lunches. My school provides like fried chicken boxes with fried potatoe wedges so I don't have to pack lunches. But, if I have to pack a lunch, I usually go with Lunchables and Caprisun with a fruit of some kind.

I know this is really, really, really, and I mean REALLY stupid, but I don't eat lunch until I get home at ~3:30. If there's a test in the second half of the day, I pack a tuna sandwich however.

I don't eat lunch that often, I usually have some form of training at lunch so don't have too much time, if I do eat lunch I'll eat some pasta in tomato sauce

I buy a hot-breaded-chicken sammich when I can, but otherwise I pack a sandwich, a granola bar, fruit and a drink

Fruits are humans first 'fast food'. A great source of calories.
Switch it up daily with mono-meals.. Like 5 bananas one day and 6 peaches the next.
Nobody needs a concentrated source of protein each meal.
It doesn't get any healthier than 'fresh' 'ripe' 'organic'

    or if you want hot..
homemade split pea soup. (great source of protein too btw)
    Rice, Broccoli & spice.
boiled potatoes & carrots with spice.
Oatmeal with pecans and a dab of maple syrup.

Whole foods are mainly what I'm aiming at. You'll live a longer and relatively disease free life.
