I don't know how to react... am I a psychopath? Cool...
Anyway, how does someone poll this? You can't ask the troll, seeing as it's evident that they will lie about it. Are you trolling in posting this on several accounts?

Yes the fact that it's the result of an online survey about trolls would automatically skew the results as a troll magnet. I'm not sure that a true psychopath needs the anonymity that the internet affords. I guess it does allow for a freedom of expression of a nature that they might otherwise have learned to suppress.

I think trolling is more a cultural phenomenon than a sign of an underlying psychopathy. There's an online culture that values someone's ability to cut someone else down and that encourages people to play into that.

There was actually an editorial in my local paper last wee on this, even going as far as to cite the same research source. I think trolling has taken on a much more generalized term (at least here) than it is supposed to mean. I've always assumed trolling carried a more malicious intent. And if you are curious into how they conducted their study, I would encourage you to read the process and results.

Guys, lay off; cut him some slack. However tech, you may find that people will respond in a more positive manner if you put effort into making less superfluous posts.
