I'm calling on the community here to help me with building my new computer. If anyone can, it would be nice if you could go to uk.pcpartpicker.com and build me the best computer you can between 500 and 600 pounds. My only request is that it have a descent amount of memory as I already have 2GB of rams worth of games on my computer and I've only installed two thirds of the games I have I'd like it to be able to run a game like battlefield at around 60fps on medium settings. Thanks in advance -Shock
I'm guessing if it could run something like battlefield at like 50 fps on medium settings than it would be good for minecraft? Also I play loads of games like CS and Garry's mod, if they count as real games.
The reason I ask because a lot of people go overkill on their PCs when they don't need to. Honestly, any semi-decent computer will run minecraft just fine. An fps >=60 should be suitable. anything more is just for bragging rights. Any bad computer can handle counter strike, and the only reason you need a super computer for g-mod is if you want to spawn in hundreds upon hundreds of objects. So if you want to spend a ton of money on a PC, go ahead, I just wanted to know your intended use, because if you're not playing new games on max settings or 3d rendering, you don't need anything special. I can try to put a budget PC together for you, but someone else will most definitely make improvements on it. Edit: Made in about 10 minutes, here ya go: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/ndvenckus1/saved/3NBS That's without an operating system. (If anyone wants to change this or make their own, go ahead). That's a nice PC made within your budget. You can add another stick of RAM, I was just trying to stay under 600. For minecraft, CS, and gmod, you could probably spend about half that.
I'm well aware that 60fps is all you need , I really want to start playing games like battlefield and LoL on my computer but since it's so terrible I can't. I'm really just looking for the best computer possible for the money I have. I'm buying windows 7 separately as my current computer has Windows XP on it. I think it's about 10 years old xD.
oiShocKWavesv http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2VMBs bit cheaper than ndv's with a OS. chose an APU because its cheaper than cpu+gpu setup, and will run most games on mid settings at 60
Woah, the prices for those parts really shot up recently xD How many fps do you reckon it could get on minecraft?
for some reason the canadian/US site wont show parts for me Magetime mind tellin me where in canada u are so i can build a rig of the site or a retailer near you?
On the case you chose for the PC, where are all the USB ports and that stuff? (Sorry for being such a nub at this xD)
newegg.com is your best friend <3 As for what parts you get, it all comes down to what you're going to use it for. :3 Just don't skimp out on your motherboard or power supply just to get a better graphics card/cpu There's also a lot of builds here along with build advice --> http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc
