Not too bad for a first time, certainly better than a lot of plots I've had to judge in the past. Although you could do adding a bit of depth to the outside, as it's still very flat.
I'm refering to the building itself. Depth refers to how 3d a wall is, generally very flat walls are boring to look at, depth is a good way to add detailing to a building.
It's seems to be very rarely that people get promoted on their first attempt, it doesn't make you a terrible builder, it just means there's still a few things you need to learn. The key to building good is patience and perseverance.
I remember a few people who skipped Builder I, but I do not think it was their first attempt. They looked around at great builds, learned a few new techniques, and made masterpieces.
