How to connect to FTB

In the launcher:

Select "3rd party packs", and click "Pack codes"
Type "SpaceA" into the box
Select Space Astronomy from the bottom of the pack list
Select the correct version and click "Launch"​

There is no whitelist right now, if there is one in the future, this post will be updated.

Thanks so much, I've got on FTB before but after a while it kinda stuffed.

 

This worked like a charm the first time, but I tried reinstalling recently and this solution (unless I'm missing something) no longer seems to do the trick.

Any updated suggestions to be had?

What type of error are you getting? Is it an Id mismatch?
On a side note, we switched to 1.1.7 today of Unleashed.

 

So I did all the steps but when I click launch nothing happens at all and it doesn't even give me an error, I waited like half an hour for it and nothing, any ideas on what is wrong?

I have the Biblio mods tend to cause issues but I can disable those and not really care. As for the GregTech related conflicts:

ID 22256 from Mod GregTech_Addon is missing
Then the same for IDs 22248 to 22271.

This is when I select my single player world to enter. Looking in the log there's about a page of mismatched IDs showing. Is it something I've done wrong or do the files need to be updated?

If you get ID conflicts in single player but not the server, that likely means the server has more mods than your single player world did when you started it. This is only an issue if the new mods modify the world generation.

FML is forge modloader which automatically comes with FTB. You shouldn't have to install in manually.

 

Do you have to download it as a dropbox or zip file because it's a folder and it won't work

 

It's only been played as single player, no server component to it on this one.

 

It says i don't have FML

 

You need to update your ftb launcher. I just reinstalled it.
