If you're wanting to buy a lot of games and don't have a ton of money then just wait until they go on sale places. I personally never buy games full price if they aren't on disc. There's no point to me when I can wait for a game to go on a huge sale and wait patiently. I have nooo idea how much you know about PC gaming so I'll assume you know nothing because I'm bored and my main computer is dead and I have no life and like lists. Here's a list of websites I like to use. GOG is good for older games and some newer indie games. No DRM so you can put games on flash drives and download as many times as you want on multiple computers. All their games are made to run on new systems as well (not sure about Windows 8). All games don't use Steam keys. They're my personal favorite and are especially good if you're running on an older computer. Amazon's digital games has very good sales sometimes, especially during larger Steam sales, since they don't have a huge customer-base in that department and are in competition with Steam. Most games even activate with Steam, which is great if you have friends on Steam (or if you're a psychopath and for some reason like Steam...). (There's also a non-digital games store by Amazon that occasionally has amazing prices) Green Man Gaming is nice if you like trading in games, but a lot of credit card companies will not allow you to purchase from it because it is (wrongly) listed as a gambling website. Get Games Go has frequent buy-a-number-of-games-for-a-good-price deals. Most games there activate with Steam keys. Newegg's games section has good prices almost all the time. They have both digital and non-digital games as well. They almost all activate with Steam keys. Gamestop's digital games download has amazing sales on occasion too. Savygamer is a large list that is kept up to date on the best sales around the internet, a lot are UK only though. For bundles, ask the Google about Humble Bundle, Indie Royale, Indie Gala, Groupees, and Bundle In A Box. Humble Bundle usually has the best prices. Steam sucks. Slows down games, has an ancient, buggy, and laggy client. Only pros are the huge userbase means more of your friends will use it, and the download speed is great. The sales get worse and worse as time goes on and Valve realizes they have little competition. Origin is worse but necessary for some games. Don't buy games that use Game For Windows Live. For what I'd actually recommend: I love larger RPGs, so Bethesda is my deity. Fallout: New Vegas, TES III: Morrowind and TES V: Skyrim are wonderful. For FPS I'd recommend RAGE if you have a lot of HDD memory. It's beautiful and simplistic and does what it's supposed to very well, although the backtracking can get annoying as hell. Terraria goes on sale on Steam frequently and is only $10 usually, and is a must-buy if you like RPGs (it's not 2D Minecraft and anyone that says it is is a dumbarse). Magicka is fun and different, it's an RPG but not super open, it's cheap and goes on sale frequently. Some good F2P shooters are TF2 (of course) and Tribes: Ascend if you wanna go fast. I liked Legend of Grimrock, it's an older-style RPG. The first three Fallout games are on GOG and wonderful games all around. They're sorta strategic isometric RPGs. Braid, VVVVVV, and Super Meat Boy are all amazing platformers. Braid is a puzzler and VVVVVV and Super Meat Boy are hard and have incredible controls (although you'll want a gamepad for Super Meat Boy). Saints Row: The Third is a fun open world sorta GTAish game. Both of The Witcher are great, more mature and complex RPGs (buy them from GOG or Steam like right now because they're on sale). Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of my favorite games of all time and a great semi-open FPS RPG. Dishonored and Dark Messiah of Might And Magic have the best first-person hand-to-hand combat in any game I've ever played. Dark Messiah is more of an RPG than Dishonored, and looks sort of dated, but is still wonderful. Dishonored is a great game. FTL is fun if you're intelligent and like space ships and shooting space ships in space. Capsized is a nice shooty platformer and is beautiful. The Dream Machine is a point 'n click made entirely of clay and cardboard. It's a lovely game. Torchlight and Torchlight 2 are very, very good Diablo-type games. Much better than Diablo III in every way (they were made by a lot of the devs from Diablo II). Friend me on Steam yo. Username ZeroStare. Sorry if I wrote too much or thought too little of your PC gaming knowledge, I'm just really really really really really bored.
#1 Navarog, damn.... #2 If you have a decent setup get these games: War Thunder, it is AMAZING (also free o_o ). Most people would think that a "free to play" game would have little twists that would make you pay money in the end. Nope. I haven't spent a single dollar on it yet and I am nearing the higher levels. It has excellent graphics and physics. Most decent PCs can max it out and get 40-50 FPS on it. My new setup gets 50 on most maps. http://warthunder.com/ Anyway, Battlefield 4 is a must. Try BeamNG.Drive. It is one hell of a game. It is basically a driving simulator game with destructible vehicles (soft body physics). I never get bored of it. Some of the best terrain graphics and car models I have ever seen. The only downside is that you will need a very good CPU to run it . My 4.6 ghz AMD A10 runs it at 720p, medium settings, with 40FPS. http://www.beamng.com/BeamNG.drive As of right now the tech demo is free and the early alpha is 15$.
You are so god damn comedic omg. Must've taken some real thought to come up with that incredible display of wit.
try cubeworld, beautiful game, fun, fighting action. i think we have a cubeworld server actually. and nav, how long did that list take you
