So just today I have been bat bombed, I had afked for awhile trying to set up a modpack. When I got back, I found that around 30-40 bats had been spawned in a enclosed underground area. When I had asked in chat about who did it, I got ignored by most and did not feel the need to bother an admin about it. I shown a thread that explained a little bit about the bat bombs and figured it was a prank between the veterans of the server. All I can say is, if you are playing a prank on others, make sure they will not find it annoying and very childish. I had to spend my time to kill the bats and was very lucky for them to not go behind my chests. I post this in the hope that this prank does not happen to other people who have better things to do with their time. Screenshot of the aftermath of the prank:
I know that they do, but while they are there, they are quite annoying as I have never liked the sounds they make. I could mute sounds but then I would not be able to hear anything which is more annoying for me.
Are you absolutely positive that an admin wasn't doing it? (QuietSea once spawned a gazillion bats all over the map while invisible)
I have had this multiple times. The first couple of times I thought it was a good prank. Then it got annoying. I am not even going to start, or post the screenshots of the "prank" that the admins pulled on me today.... It was a bit to much. *psst* it is QuietSea that typically does these sort of things And to the admins that do this sort of thing; Please don't do it to me... It is getting a bit irritating.
Have you ever had to deal with skeleton-creepers with invisibility, fire resistance, and speed II? No? Be glad you are only suffering from bat infestations.
