TundraShok Ban appeal

Before hand, thanks to anyone who replies to this... Cheating? or Advantage? Some people say counting cards in blackjack is cheating, some say its an advantage. Did i use XRAY or did i use a TEXTURE PACK? Now, no where in the rules does it say no xray, BUT it does say so in the Guide. However it only says "Can I x-ray? No, you will be banned." It does not specify about a harmless texture pack that only reveals the location of a CAVE and not an ore specifically. Yes i used it, I will man up to my actions and tell everyone that i used an xray texture pack. I thought about this for days, thinking if i should appeal this or not especially because I have had my temp ban just a week ago. Any ways i will not waste any more of your time, as i know you guys must be really busy with this 1.8 patch, but i will close up with this, I had clocked in a good amount of time in the server and was an active member (this does not justify what i did), i enjoyed it and had a blast. sigh, x-ray is pretty much what you just described. You look around, find caves and dig straight to them. your "texture pack" might not let you see the ores but it still lets you see caves which is pretty much X-ray.
You dug to the caves knowing they were there which is juts like having x-ray. It clearly states like you said can you use xray, no you will be banned. If your texture pack acts 90% like an x-ray texture, dont use it. Further more, if you were unsure ASK A STAFF MEMBER!

 

I understand Imaxorz, like i said before i didn't see the harm and i did check the rules before hand. (i should have asked a staff member) But the way i looked at it, i wasn't greifing or looting just mining. Sorry if i caused a problem, and would really love to get back in the server, but i know i haven't given you a reason to trust me as a member. Again actions mean more than just words. Im sorry.

Yes your actions do speak louder than words, on that day I watched you time and time again dig thru a wall, or into a lava pit directly to an exposed diamond ore. I watched you as you would circle the area the ore was at and decide which was the best way to get to it. Using a 'texture pack' or mod that gives you an advantage is against the rules. You are obviously not a child and you know what you were doing was wrong. Not once, but twice you blatantly disregarded the rules and even attempted to produce a grey area in your appeal here.

By the way, an apology is not truly an apology when it comes with a justification of the actions you are "apologizing" for.

The ban will stand.
