I was banned with the message bug abuse(sharqman)and after talking with sharq part of the ban was for using xray and chest finders When were you banned? About a week ago How long is your ban? Perm hopefully not(cross my fingers) Can you explain what you know about the ban in more detail? So survival had updated to 1.6 finally and then about a week later the mining world was reset. Everyone was in mining world mining for dungeons and I was finding alot of dungeons. The reason I was finding so many dungeons was because I was using my turtle beach's to sound whore.(pardon my language) Prior to this I had also looked up which levels dungeons are most common to spawn on and mined around those layers. If you get within 20blocks of a dungeon mobs will spawn and you will be able to hear them pretty well then just I keep mining in the direction till you run into the noise you heard. The second part about the ban was using the /ptp command. Being a veteran player I knew Shadecrest has never allowed tping to other players but in TS we had a discussion although we shouldve mentioned the bug before using it. Why should you be unbanned? I think I should be unbanned because Shadecrest is my home on minecraft I enjoy it very much and have been deicated to the server for 2 years. This is my first major offence so I would like a second chance, I will also give back all the items that I acquired from the dungeons I had found. Shadecrest is my minecraft home as I said and I would never xray/use chest finders on this server as it means alot to me. I would greatly appreciate being given a second chance or a chance to redeem myself.
So instead of just exploring you'd camp in corners waiting for mobs to spawn, and then mine towards the sound?
Well as I explored I would listen just digging on those levels, occasionally I would stop to check to see if I could hear anything. Again as I stated I will have all items I gained removed if it helps.
You head towards this room, a creeper blows up and uncovers the top layer,and you loot the chest. Now you walk here And mine straight to a zombie spawner (note that where I'm standing, no zombies spawn, have to be right up in the corner. Also, there were no other mobs in the spawner room, so to sound whore you'd have to stand at the wall) Instead of going this way, you could have gone through this door on the very next wall and seen a corner of the dungeon exposed where awasted is standing. (And you didn't even go to that door)
I move around the whole room to see if any mobs spawn because if I were to stand in one place it wouldn't be very efficient. I can see the odds are not going in my favor...
It also doesn't really explain why you'd go down the stairs instead of up the stairs here, just to dig into the same When you could've just gone here
I did see that I just thought if I went out from the downstairs I might be able to hear another dungeon but I had no luck
With that case, it was only 12-14 seconds between opening the chest and digging towards the spawner. That's not really leaving much time to run around the room and/or for mobs to spawn. And you're contradicting yourself. Saying this was a major offence, and then the next sentence saying you did nothing.
