However, more or less unbeknownst to me, I was being highly rude and disrespectful to nearly everyone that I hadn't ignored yet. This resulted in me getting banned. Why should you be unbanned? It was late and I was exhausted from all the grunt work I had been doing resulting in me being irate and rude. I can see now that I wasn't thinking at all in a logical or correct manner like I should have. I slept well and I am ready to try this again and handle it in a more upright manner than before. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that I caused last night. Can you please reconsider. And would you all ever so kindly please ignore the issue that arose last night. It is an enormous embarrassment to me and I very deeply regret it. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. The logging was called off today so I have plenty of time to talk this out.
I appreciate the sincere effort to remain calm and use rational thoughts. With that said I would like to hear what Z has to say before I give any verdict. Please be patient as we are a busy staff
Wish you had appealed more like this the first time. With the attitude you had yesterday, it seemed like you wanted to get back on the server just for the sake of it, saying you would just ignore more people to not cause issues. A mindset like that might work for a bit, but would probably land you in the same situation sooner or later, which I don't think other players and staff should have to deal with. With that said, if you really think your attitude has changed and you can be respectful of all players, I'd be willing to switch your ban to temporary and give you one more shot in a few days. Just realize if this happens again, no one will bother listening to an appeal. You agree with this sioutdoors?
I see that you did not mention me specifically in the last paragraph and rather referred to sioutdoors, but I entirely agree with your decision and will cooperate to the fullest extent. And again, I apologize for my rash behavior--I was quite surprised this morning after reading what I had typed last night as that sort of situation has not occurred within my memory. While I am still attempting to understand what was going through my head at the time, I am definitely making certain that it will not happen again.
I tagged siout just to make sure he agreed, as I figured you would agree with being unbanned. The best thing you can do is just learn from this and don't let it happen again, and apologize to the players who you insulted. Everyone makes mistakes, just don't make the same ones twice. Prove that Si and I made a good call on this. Ban will automatically expire in 3 days.
