Banned for Signs?

I was banned for griefing signs, but I read the rules and I was also informed by wkd that as long as I put the blocks back, Im not griefing. So Im wondering why did I get banned for not breaking the rules?

 

I made a post asking about this. It was concluded that, as it says in the rules, you shouldn't "create grey areas or act dumb." Yes you replaced the signs, but not with the original text on it.

 

You put inappropriate messages on the signs. You didn't replace the original text and the owner repeatedly told you to stop. This is considered griefing and you should have clearly known better. The ban will stand.
