Dynmap

Some players have been requesting for the ability to show themselves on the map. When I asked max about this he said to put it to a vote so here it is. To explain how this will work in more detail; Players will by default be hidden. Players will have to do /dynmap show to show themselves. To unhide they will have to do /dynmap hide. With this version anyone and everyone can be hidden still, only players that want to be shown will be shown.
Do NOT trick people into showing themselves on the map. Whether it is for looting, pvp, or helping. If you want to help them ask for a home invite or ask for coords. Otherwise leave it to staff.

 

this should of been the way it was when we made everyone hidden to begin with

Update on this? command works in game, is it linked to the old map?

 

Should it be always on no matter if they are sneaking/night time/under a block?

 

No, keep people mining safe if they leave it on/night raids etc.
Also 19 votes to none lol, I wonder what it would be if it was perm show

 

If you want to be hidden just do /dynmap hide, if you want to be shown do /dynmap show. there should be no keeping people safe since you have complete control whether you are on the map or not.

I use it, quite useful for navigating

I used to use it, but people began using it to get cords to raid people in peaceful.
