Could you all please (at least when contacting me) use /msg [player] [message] instead of /tell [player] [message], please? The advantage is (besides one character less), that the other one can reply simply by /r [message]. Much faster! Thanks, Blumi
A lot of people at even look ay the chat at times. But whens there is suddenly a lot of dark purple text. It catches your eye
if you are ingame and want to talk to me, type /tell pyro5050 and then hit enter this starts a conversation as said above... making it so you dont have to type anything else to send me a tell...
I still favor /msg:

Conversation, using /tell: A) /tell ThisDudeRiteHere A) Hey Dude B) /tell Pyro5050 B) What's up? A) nothing B) kthxbai A) /ch g B) /ch g Conversation, using /msg: A) /msg ThisDudeRiteHere Hey Dude B) /r What's up? A) /r nothing B) /r kthxbai

77 chars
63 chars (no need to change channels)

Using /tell sticks out though. And you can do /tell thisduderitehere and have a private convo with me, and while in that, do /tell pyro MESSAGE, then say something again and have it go to me.
You don't have to use the whole name. Like /tell This [message] and why it's faster using tell kuz the private convo TDRH and pyro said and the channels you can just use /g so you don't leave private convo and /ch g isn't so hard to type
The one and only advantage to /msg is that you will be able to see the message when you log in whereas /tell requires the player to be online.
Somewhat off topic ish. But when you said that it reminded me of the mail plug in. And idk how much people actually use it or bother too look at it, I forget sometimes too.
