No idea how, but Dodokono's Ban Appeal

I managed to finally get back on minecraft for the first time in forever, was working on setting some walls, and suddenly, I'm banned. said "Do not spam commands." and when I tried to log back in, it said, "You are not allowed to rejoin the server." I've been banned for trying to poke a hole in a wall I made using world edit (just so I can get alignment right.) I need to head back to work, but can this please be resolved before I get home? And perhaps the source of the ban? I didn't think the admins who were on would be upset about me setting up my own walls. -_-

PS. I think it might be an automated anti griefing response from the server. Possibly. while the wall I'm working on is much smaller then most of my previous builds, its also got more curves, so it did in all fairness, have more commands then usual.

 

I can assure you Dodo that no one would be upset about you setting up your own walls. With that message it's mostly likely an auto ban as you suggest. I'll go unban you but Max certainly needs to be made aware of this. I'm new so it may be that other admins are familiar with this problem.

 

It's an anti spam plug in that the server has....sadly it happens to me all the time when I am using voxel/world edit or just slapping people D:

 

By the way, Dodo is that your full IGN? I tried to unban and it says you were not banned. Perhaps someone already unbanned you.

 

That is 100% an automated kick/ban thing. You are not actually banned, just denied the ability to rejoin the server for about a minute or so. It will happen most frequently during a lag spike - any commands entered during a large spike will stack and all be performed at once, usually resulting in an auto kick.

If this happens again, just wait a minute or two and then try joining the server again.

 

it kept me offline for about 20 minutes. but I guess I've been unbanned by something. oh well. at least it's been (kinda) cleared up. thanks guys
