Redstone Ideas

With this new update (1.5), I'm sure there are a lot more redstone contraptions that you can make. I'm not much of a redstone wizard myself, but I'm curious, what are some ideas you guys have? I'd be interested to hear.

Even though it's not an original one; a storage system so I an see how many chests I've filled with cobble. Saves a bit of time.
