    (read the whole thing, this isn't a gripe or anything)

    Well i think the focus on economy goes in completely the wrong direction, there are problems with other item prices and such right?

    While I agree, I feel this would make thing messy as a lot of players made their money because it was too easy, and they took advantage of some stuff they shouldn't have. Sure not everyone did that, but I am not going to sit and separate those who did and didn't.

    We will have like a tax free week or something. So everyone can start out easier. I just think we need to start with a completely clean plate for it to work for sure.

    First off i think it's wrong to accuse players of "taking advantage" of the system when they worked for what they gained, we don't have ESP and i don't think the blame should be placed on players like me who simply LIKE mining (in fact i have mostly been playing SP yogbox in favor of shadecrest due to all the mining/mining related additions like new ores!/picks and underground ruins.) and comments like this kind of just insult the community. Don't blame the players.

    You should try to avoid punishing players for playing on your server and start looking to reward them for their hard work, keep the old gold prices but keep the reduced gold prices too. How? When you sell the gold it gives you 20-25% of the rupies or whatever and then deposits 75% into other accounts (untouchable by any player) these would be used to buy wheat, glass and wood (probably planks) in a similar manner to the gold kiosk but limited to gold minted.

    You could even go as far as to set up major towns with individual Town access only! kiosks and reduce the prices of the standard server kiosks by a percent (encouraging players to join towns instead of creating new ones) That leaves the option for donation kiosks that pay "slightly" more than a town kiosk (which i think is more than fair since a reason to donate is so you have your very own protected land and with the donation kiosk you don't have to rely on a town at that point, as well as give a benefit for those who choose to be in towns.)

    The last thing you could do is require materials to be sold to a town by players to buy town expansions but I'm not sure how that would be possible if iconomy and towny do not allow separate currencies.
