In comparison, the fastest supercomputer in the world, IBM Sequoia, only has 1.6 PB. This is more than enough memory for it to store all the data from a full scale nuclear explosion simulation.
Keep in mind that it still takes Sequoia about a week to process the data. So if his computer happens to run at 16.32 petaFLOPS, he will only lag for around seven days. After that he should be fine.
