Banned from everything

May I please be unbanned? I'm not exactly sure what I did to deserve this.

 

Wth why is sock banned? He just teleported everyone.

 

If only I could've been there. I believe this is a new record, two admins and an architect banned because Liasha is a good builder.

 

He caused a screw up in my area, an entire building lost, that was also nearly done.

 

Fixed that for you.

 

Although it was an incredibly immature thing to do on my part, It wasn't meant to be shared with the entire server and I strongly wish Sock hadn't teleported anyone or this whole incident could have been avoided.

I know what I did was against server rules but I think it's unfair that sock teleported everyone and made it possible for this to happen. I was going to change the colour of the statue to the colour of my skin as I had already told liasha. She didn't seem to have a problem with this. The added part when oat first pasted the statue was meant to be a 20 second joke between me, him and sock.

Again I am sorry for what I did and I do feel ashamed by it, but can you please give us a second chance? Ignoring this incident Oat and Sock are great admins and Oat is often on when no other admins are. He'll allways come onto the server if I ask him to when there is an issue that needs to be dealt with. This is the only time I have seen either of them mess up. I really do enjoy playing on this server, the community is great, the server itself is well run and very smooth to play on (not just lag, general server issues are sorted very quickly too).

I just hope my ban isn't permanant, not because I'll loose my work on the server, but because I enjoy playing on it as it's the best server I'v had the pleasure of playing on.

Just my my opinion here, but, for what it's worth, I feel that the punishment is a bit extreme, especially in regards to Socklord who, as far as I am aware of, has not had any prior issues or warnings and, whom I feel is/was an excellent admin Yes they all acted immaturely and (surprise, surprise) behaved like crude adolescent boys (again big surprise). And of course they should be punished because they KNEW better. And I do understand the bann, somewhat, if they have recently been reprimanded/ warned for breaking the rules. But either way, and no disrepect intended, I feel, particularly in Socklords case, that someone may have overreacted just a tad and should probably grow a thicker skin and lighten up a little bit. But of course, IMAX is boss so I support whatever decision he makes/made. Hopefully we don't lose anymore staff because all this drama lately is just getting a bit ridiculous.

i know this is locked but i feel this was just. Especially in G1's case. multiple strikes against

 

I'm just saying that Sock has been gone for awhile and only returned just the other day. So obviously he wasn't privy to all the recent drama or the resulting "discussions". I doubt hes even aware of any of that. Had he been around and been able to witness what was going on and participate in those talks I am certain things would have gone much differently today.

So unless he has been repremanded or caused problems in the past I feel he should have been given at least one warning before pemanently banning him. I mean everybody deserves a second chance....as for the multiple offenders....ban the frak out of them. They obviously arent gonna change. But I just feel, considerng how long Sock has been with Shadecrest and that he , IMHO, is a darn fine admin and deserved at least a warning/firm coaching/reprimand before being banned. But hey Max, its your server, your rules. I just felt a need to point that out. Thanks for hearing me out.

Well guys its been fun. Good seeing several of you throw me under the bus here, but I also notice some of you sticking up for me and I thank you for that. I've been with shadecrest for a long time, ever since I started minecraft. It's been my nerdy home away from home and I have always tried to do what I think is best for the server. Unfortunately after being away for a while due to the realities of moving across the country, I came back to new admins and new drama. Ive been on about 4 days since I moved, this last time I came on and was working on a project when oat appeared and pasted the liasha statue. In a moment of weakness I tpd everyone without thinking of the consequences because it was indeed hilarious, though as an admin I should have been more careful to control my childish impulses. What really gets me is that I get banned for this with no warning, no notice and no consideration. I see mention of talks about similar incidents, none of which I was here for or told about, but I make one mistake and BAM I'm banned forever without warning like a lowly griefer. Well I'm done ranting, feel much better now. I wish everyone well and hope Shadecrest Creative continues to be the awesome server I fell in nerd-love with so long ago.

 

max i know that this is a closed threat but you also know how i think about the ban of socklord oat and g1mckenzie yes they did stupid stuff that shouldn't have been done but sock and oat where great admins and for g1mckenzie he's a great builder to i know he already had a ban appeal but that was for a temp ban i really think that they deserve a second chance cause they did so much for the server and i would hate to see those three of my friends on this server go it would make me feel almost like this server is empty even if there are hundreds of people online i feel that they have just like you have a role in this server it would be like a HALO without master chief, like a Pokemon without pikachew. i really feel like they should have been warned first. this is how i think about them being banned and i would really just want this to end well for everyone don't destroy their nerdy-love for this server.
