Nether Travel

Hey Shadecrest Players,

My IGN is brockstaa18. I think for Shadecrest to improve in my eyes. Us players should be aloud to make nether portals so we can travel to unknown places.

For example (Not Correct, But Close)

If I make a portal in the Over World (Normal World) it takes me to a nether spot. If I travel 32 block in the Nether and make another portal, when I step into the new nether portal I will be..... Say 6000 block away from the first world portal. Therefore making Nether Traveling.

Yeah i've noticed a lit portal outside mining spawn, as well as the water receding a good 50 blocks.

How do you light the portals? Fire charge?

 

yeah brock made one last night to test if mining and nether were linked yet. It didn't work but...it was psychedelic you could say.

Yeah that's one step forward. But maybe also making it available in normal worlds to? But either way it will really help people find new places.

 

Normal worlds would be hard.

as i have said many many times, people can walk their sorry butts to the edges of the world... alot of others have done it... why do we need MORE easy travel... Donate to the server, use your warp, and use your home, thats two warp areas!

also join a town and live in it, then you can just use /t spawn to get to your home.

 

This would also be a way to farm obsidian, correct?

 

What? How? Water gets patched in the update (Place ice, break it), so there won't be any obsidian there

 

Derpderpderpdeprderp. One could make a nether portal, then go to the nether, break that one, go back to their /home at the original nether portal, and do this with no end. BOOM infinite rufies!!!!!!!

Ah I see I see I see, wonder if you would get mcmmo experience doing that. Also, probs devalue obsidian since it is now infinite
