Accidental Combat Logging

Thursday night, I accidentally wandered into the PVP arena because I just wanted to take a look inside, or maybe I was just having a derpy moment, but I instantly found myself in a piston trap as soon as I crossed into the PVP zone, and I really don't know anything at all about PVP, plus since I was last active on the server, when you crossed into the PVP zone, you just got a notification, which was, granted, at least three or four months ago, so I suppose I was pretty stupid to not assume there had been more changes than just the architecture.

See, I panicked and first asked if someone could get me out, then, when noone could offer any real help, so I tried relogging, but in the end I had to jump out of the trap, which is a bit tricky, but that's not the point.

So, last night, I found that awastedlife had banned me for logging out during a PVP match, and I don't think one had started while I was trapped, I was only there for about a minute or two, I believe, so this is both a misunderstanding and a big lapse of judgement on my end. I should have thought more during the PVP arena situation, and I am deeply sorry for the confusion.

I promise that this will never happen again during my time on Shadecrest.

Alan321 pm'ed me that you logged off during combat or was he was about to approach you in combat. You should of at least looked around to make sure no one was coming towards you from any angle and just because you aren't combat tagged or you don't see them coming doesn't mean you can log out or port away.

This is only a 2 day ban, and I want you to brush up on the PvP rules in our wiki, because you never know when your going to get into this kind of situation or any kind of future situation related to PvP. wiki.shadecrest.com

 

Actually you were there a while. Dreamz, MIllz and i ALL raided you and at PVP spawn Dreamz was like there is 4 of them! We ran all the way there attacked and killed 3 of you guys as you ran for your lives. After our kills you were still within the walls of the NPC village where all the fighting occurred. I was coming in from your right and dreamz was right behind you.

You knew we were there and logged when we were very close. You were within 25 blocks of the combat the whole time. SO you logged, keeping your diamond armor that you had on you, in fear of your close death.
