Chat not operating correctly

I was told that this is the appropriate place to state any problems I might have.

Anyways my problem is basically what the title states, but a more in depth explanation would be:

Whenever I try to type anything into chat I am asked to join the channel, when I try to join the channel it says I'm already in the channel.

Reloging hasn't appeared to fix it, the only way I can communicate is through /tell

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

your doing /ch <channel name> right? maybe taking a picture the error message and post it here?

don't do /ch join o, type /o [message]
for instance to say 'hi' you would type:
/o hi!

 

So simple and yet I failed to realize it.
