Remember coming home from school, and watching Toonami? with your favorite host TOM? All those good shows they used to play, and the hours on end we used to spend glued to the T.V. I just recently watched the final broadcast message from TOM, and Toonami, and I only now understood the true meaning. When I was younger I had no Idea that Toonami was ending, and I thought I'd always see TOM tomorrow. Thinking back on this time has brought me great sadness, and Nostalgia. When Toonami died, so did cartoon-network.

When Toonami died, and Josh from Drake and Josh lost wait...It was the end of decent kids' shows.

Cartoon Network got pretty bad after they stopped showing old Tom & Jerry and the classic Loony Toons every weekend.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's recently thought about this :p
Show's are simply terrible these days, absolutely terrible.

Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, Dragon Ball Z, and TOM.

Those shows were my Cartoon Network childhood life, lol. They will always be missed, with deep, passionate sorrow. Nickelodeon used to be really good, too, but I think the same thing sorta happened.

Edit: omg, awasted, I remember watching that on TV  lol

If a republican candidate promised to bring back 90s nick and toonami and then kill all these horrible shows they play today with fire (i.e. MLP :p) would you vote for him or her?

when i think about it, those shows were really good! and after like dragoneawt i started watching science channel etc.. and now they have some new ben ten where there all like 15+ years old and dating, some show about videogame nerds who play the game in real life somehow, and a show about an underage child with flaming hair and two twin sister who help him destroy a town only to be rebuilt the next day :p atleast the old ones were like a series or had a goal beside profit XD

Im not sure. I think its basicaly a retooling of the adult swim anime lineup, Which was always just a retooled toonami lineup. So its probably somewhat the same as when it left but without dbz and ronin warriors and gundam and whatnot.
