Raiding... yes, i mean it

Well, i think there should be a raiding rule. When you kill people you will have to give back there stuff, but you can keep up to 0 - 4 things they have. I think its fair that way.

 

I highly disagree, as it may not be fun to be killed by someone, killing someone else and getting a full set of iron armour and a diamond sword is very fulfilling and I like it so I vote no.
If you can't deal with losing items from a raid, you shouldn't be in a PvP town in the first place.

Also could you change the 3rd answer to something more reasonable, as in, "No I vote against it" since none of them actually say no, It's either I don't care or Yes so please do add a reasonable vote or this won't be taken seriously.

 

Im with kir, and FPS, you spend half of your time on the server screaming in all caps when you get killed or stolen from. With all due respect, you should get out of PVP...

 

I understand, I knew that it wouldn't be worth it. I still like to live in PVP though. Well, I guess I shouldn't carry a lot of stuff...

 

I disagree. It would also cause more fights over people giving giving stuff back or not.

Plus when I kill people IRL they don't ask for their stuff back.

 

why are u on pvp side if u dont wana be killed? u know the risk ur taking on the pvp side. so why cry about dieing and asking for your stuff back?

i think that it is pretty fair how it is, beside one thing; if someone is fighting you then good! take their stuff if you win, but the only thing i dislike is when someone is building or just walking around and a group of people go commando on them, take the building materials they worked really hard to get, and leave. thats all that annoys me.

 

As that may seem unfair but, if you don't want to die don't live in the PvP world, go to peaceful it's not that hard :/

 

My thoughts: Raids suck when there's no one on. Anything I find in an unlocked chest usually sucks too. When I want to raid, I do it to take people's stuff. Having to then barter for who gets what would mean that raiding for kills would suck too. If I feel that someone didn't deserve to die (ie they were just building, unarmed) I'd give some stuff back. To try to regulate who gets what is 1) impossible and 2) would ruin the experience of raiding.

 

Pft, once I found a whole, almost dead iron axe in a unlocked chest!

 

I once found 16 iron swords in 2 chests >_>

 

I once found 10k worth of gold on two people as they were making a trade.
That's what we raid for.

 

Ummm, my best find was when I found some admin stuff in Dyno's chests in pvp world. Wow, noone found it in the amount of time it's been sitting there. Wow. It had about ~35 Water Blocks, 59 ice, 37 cobweb, ~12 diamonds, lots of diamond tools, two wooden axes (supposedly used for WorldEdit, I'm keeping it >:3) and also a compass maybe for teleport. This was about 2 months afterExcavation drops got removed and there was a chest full of GlowStone... BLOCKS. But I was kind (and due to the fact I had full inventory) so I let Jasperli and Tankexe take that. My newest find was like 10 minutes before my week ban on the 20th, a stack and a half of diamonds, 2 stacks of slimeballs, 3 stack of Diamond Swords, Stacks of various rare colored wool, and uh... bread and stuff. I forget, and I cannot check until the 27th :3. I also got a 17stack of Stone Pickaxes on the Dyno robbing. I'll shut up now and see you all on the 27th! (Hopefully!)

 

My best raid was in borderlands, a few days before it shut down. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much iron armor, TONS of arrows and many much food!

 

In the future, if you ever make a suggestion poll, make some better answers, to break down the answers into a few words it goes as follows:
"Yes, I think its fair that way." - Yes I aggree
"I don't really care that much" - Don't care
"This is a stupid idea, why did I waste 1 minute of my life reading this thing?" - No and I'm ignorant
"I don't raid, I live in peaceful." - Don't care
I really don't like the answer choices you have given, if we disagree and do care about this matter to have our vote counted you force us to insult ourself by saying "why did I waste 1 minute of my life reading this thing", it makes it feel horribly one sided.
So if you are ever going to want a poll taken seriously. Get proper answers.

i don't pvp too much, but wouldn't getting your stuff back in a fair fight be stupid. I think if you are building, or doing something peaceful, you should get your stuff back.

Meh. It should be the raider's choice. You made the choice to live in PVP, so you can't then demand that people don't PVP at inconvenient times/fine them for doing so.
