the new golden apple recipe

so all of you know. minecraft is updating to 1.1. now the new golden apple recipe will make it so u can make golden apples with 8 gold nuggets and a apple. now this will make it very very VERY easy to make tons of golden apples. they heal 5 hearts of regular health and 5 hunger.this will make it a lot easier for PVP players to stay alive IMO, also easier to PVM.

what do we do about it? you need apples to make them so do we get rid of apples for good and put them in the admin shop? because to get gold nuggets u just put a gold bar in the crafting table and u make 9 ea ingot. what you guys think?

 

I think it's good. It's probably going to be sold for the price of 1 gold ingot + 1 apple

 

but with notch adding in apples comming from trees it could easly be 35r or less.

 

i don't think getting rid of apples would be easy, someone would have to make a plugin for it, unless there already is one

 

i thought that before we had a plugin to give us apples. now we wouldnt even need it. and your right. we would probly need a plugin to get rid of apples. or just delete them somehow. but i just see the golden apples ruining pvp and the market

So Hey Golden apples will be useless, expensive food. The golden apple update will lower the price of golden apples and that way make some people on server poorer + add a new vanilla usage for gold. Thats all

 

I don't even understand the point of this thread. Why does it matter if we have golden apples in the market? How will that affect anything?
