help setting up premissions

i am trying to set up a server some of my friends and i can play on and i want to let my nephew on but i need to set up groups in the premissions how would i go about that

I could help you if you want.

But if it's just going to be for your friends, I don't see why you don't just make a Vanilla server, and whitelist it.

It's not like any of them need to be restricted on what they can do.

 

i plan on letting my nephew on it and i reaaly do not up to give him all the permissions

 

you can just not op him, he can only build then

 

i found out what was wrong it was a mod i had install that would not let anyone build if they were not oped
