placing the most usless ore: redstone

This kind of goes along the lines of Z_millers post about placing ores, but here it's just about placing redstone.
With the new silk touch enchantment, and, being able to get ores in it's original form, we should at least be able to place redstone.

I understand that if people can place most ores they would abuse it and try to get extra gold, diamonds etc. But redstone has absolutly no value, and it would be a pretty cool decoration in a dark room, or something. The way it lights up when you step on it, or punch it would make it be worth it to put in your house. Even if people break them, and get double drop, what are they going to do with 14 redstone? It could even raise the price on redstone (I don't know, can you sell stuff in ore form using chest shops?).
In the end redstone could be an awesome decoration, we just need to be able to place it.

 

If we get rid of MCmmo, then you probably will be allowed to place ores

I like mcmmo, and I don't care about the other ores, just redstone.

 

Then request for it to be placed with a /modreq.

Honestly this is a really good idea. Redstone dust is insanely cheap as it is, so I think the desire to break placed ore would be quite minimal (Especially with the decreased mining time; thank you notch). If you make redstone ore placeable by everyone, it would simply increase the demand for redstone ores. Redstone users could then buy and sell ores for use in redstone devices, and the market would have one more item to move money around.

Love the idea, it would be a great idea, I would think of it as one less hassle for mods/admins to do.
