1.0 Minecraft + 1.0 Spoutcraft - 1.8 Shadecrest = why?

The math doesnt make sense, but the question is clear!

Why are we still running a server that is behind yet both spoutcraft and minecraft, they are both 1.0?

Some say the server is "dieing out" and I reassure they are wrong - that this is just a transitional period.

However a few days into this I begin to question myself. Whats going on?



Another issue is the true idenity of this server.

Are we creative? Are we PVP? Are we Vanilla? I cant get it.. Its like we want a server for every type of player but really all this is doing is thining out the core members.

If you want to be vanilla - do it, ill join.

If you want it to be shadecrest with split pvp/nether/peaceful - do it ill stay

If you want it to be creative, ill move on..

Its hard to know if multiple worlds on the same server actually increase and improve the community or spread and thin it out over multiple worlds, which in terms makes the server less enjoyable when theres less people to hang out with. . . (thats the point of multiplayer right?/??)_

And while "No" answers the question, it explains nothing. For those of us who are aware of having an option of what server we play, we would like to know at least what the plans for the server are.. You know.. ball park answer.

 

Bukkit and bukkit plugins need to update

I ask also because at the moment my machine will not connect with spoutcraft of minecraft for some reason.

I was able to connect with both yesterday, and updated neither of them. Ive never had a consistent problem of joining before, so its odd that its happened now.
