Which rules did they break? : not using /tell and abuse of global, even worse the player that he/she was trying to talk to left the game

Are there any witnesses? What are their IGN's? :basically everyone in /ch g online at the time, which is a lot

Did you talk to the people who were doing the rule-breaking? What did they say? : i told him that if he doesn't read the guide he/she* will be banned, he/she ignored it, probably doesn't even know what a /tell is/looks like

Do you think they should be given a punishment for this? :yes, but a perma-ban might be harsh, temp-ban telling him to go read the rules and guide would be better

Do you have screenshot(s) or video(s) of the incident (example: chat logs)? Post them at the end of the post : yes

Were any mods or admins on at the time this happened? Who were they? : I think yard was on, but I wanted this for the record and didn't want to bother him.

Have they broke a rule(s) before? Which ones? : he/she has abused g multiple times before.

I posted this because there are many new players that I believe haven't read the rules/guide, but at least the others know not to use /ch g like this
EDIT: again today he was in /ch g and i told him to get out, he said ok, then later he was back in /ch g, obviously doesn't know how it use herochat

 

I can confirm this. I told him/her to use /tell many times. I told them in Global, and with /tell

 

Agreed it get old after a while
