Clever oiShocKWavesv, never thought about doing that.

Just to ruin your day, I'll add a constraint. You cannot move the cake until all 3 cuts are made. Still possible. :)

    Hint for the cake problem:

Quite similar to shock's answer, but

You are given the following information, but you may prefer to do some research for yourself.

    1 Jan 1900 was a Monday.
    Thirty days has September,
    April, June and November.
    All the rest have thirty-one,
    Saving February alone,
Which has twenty-eight, rain or shine.
    And on leap years, twenty-nine.
A leap year occurs on any year evenly divisible by 4, but not on a century unless it is divisible by 400.
How many Sundays fell on the first of the month during the twentieth century (1 Jan 1901 to 31 Dec 2000)?

Randome got the solution I was thinking of for the cake problem:

I'm adding the last really interesting one I know of now, so no guarantees beyond this. I also can't find the original version I got, so it will be slightly modified from what I remember.

Since neither tribe knows or acknowledges what blue or brown is per their religious convictions (regarding eye color) neither tribe will identify or refute such a claim from a foreigner. Therefore... nothing would happen. Worst case scenario... you would have 50% of the tribe commit suicide due to indecision.

yes... but they dont know what blue or brown is...

because they can't acknowledge it per their religion

They can see other blue and brown things, like seas and tree trunks etc. They know what bule and brown is.

also... you assume islanders have foreknowledge of ratios and mathematics... and that they also have such strong religious convictions formed from their limited island experience to base their sheer existence on eye color alone. I want to meet that tribe, then quickly commit island seppuku.

The question is correctly phrased. However you are correct that the answer is not boring. :)

Trukk you are high as fuck. Disregard this man.

    Evaulation of Random's/Water's answer:

Evaluation of Random's modified question (Spoilers/New Info):

Here is the impact the foreigner's words have on the tribes people, but not why. Major spoilers. Only read if you are stuck and focus on the why part.

I can give a very massive hint that makes the answer rather apparent, but I'll probably wait until tomorrow to post that. Again, this is the last really good question I got. :p
