So my keyboard I have now sucks and it's wireless and the USB thing that it connects to broke and it came with a mouse, so now I don't have a mouse or keyboard, I was wondering what was the best keyboard and mouse, I looked around and everything says razor keyboards and mice are the best. but they're so expensive? I was wondering if and/or how they're worth it and if not, what keyboard and mouse is the best for the price yesh I do stalk to forums and hopefully I will start playing again depending on when I get a new keyboard and mouse =3 ~strangecow1
Well, I am LOVING this Logitech waterproof keyboard I have. One of the best keyboards I have ever used. It is super cheap which is another bonus ^_^ I have had it for around 1 month now and have had no problems so far. I use it for battlefield 3 and most other games. People (like awastedlife) will probably groan that I use such a cheap keyboard for gaming <_< http://www.techjailbreak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Logitech-Washable-Keyboard-K310.jpg I got mine at my local Best Buy for 15$ Now for the mouse. I use a wired Logitech Gaming mouse. Fairly cheap and feels great. It is very nice for people with big hands (like me). I have had mine for around 9 months now. It requires no additional software. You can change the sensitivity in game with 2 buttons on the mouse (I find this very useful). It also has a very high tracking rate so you won't be lagging on the games It has a nice weight to it and feels extremely high quality. You pretty much can't go wrong with Logitech. I have owned hundreds of mice and keyboards from them, and I am happy to say; I have never had a problem with them. That might change from person to person, but for the most part you will probably have a good experience ^_^ https://www.google.com/shopping/product/9695734910360916225?q=wired logitech gaming mouse&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS546US546&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.51156542,d.cGE,pv.xjs.s.en_US._-554IbEZc0.O&biw=1280&bih=899&tch=1&ech=1&psi=7gkZUrygDOWniAK-5IDoBw.1377372655143.3&sa=X&ei=8AkZUq3dCqT2iwKG2oCQDQ&ved=0CM0BEPMCMAQ P.s the keyboard and the mouse are Linux / Mac / Windows 7 + 8 compatible edit: I just found out that the mouse is rated 2nd best out of all their mice o_o
For just normal gaming and average usage, I would recommend Logitech as CanOpenerTrooper suggested above. But if you do a lot of bigger gaming, then I would really push towards the Razor equipment. It helps a lot with games like World of Warcraft where you can assign commands to certain buttons on the mouse.
I'm using a stock hp keyboard and mouse and its fine for MC. I don't play anything else on the computer. Keep in mind what you're going to be doing with the peripherals. A lower dpi mouse will work if you're not going to be too competitive. Other wise the 3200 dpi's might be worth it .
What did you need hundreds of mice and keyboards for? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I437 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I would recommend Logitech. I can use a single AA battery in my mouse for over a year. I drop my mouse many times and nothing has happened it is very durable. My keyboard works great since I bought it a couple years ago. I never used anything by Razer but some of their stuff looks cool like the Deathstalker keyboard but overall I would still buy Logitech over any other company.
It was a failed metaphor :I I have owned tons of Logitech keyboards and mice because I like them so much I have 2 for my new desktop (one was a present) and I have owned 3 more. The first one I bought was some ancient one from like 8150. I loved it but as I started to game, I realized I needed something more practical. My mom took over the others I had. She "needed" them at the time. But they eventually ended up in our storage bin.
If you're looking for a great deal this keyboard is pretty cool: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7440601&CatId=142 And for a good mouse I recommend this one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7562500&CatId=143
If you don't absolutely need it wireless than go wired, they're generally faster. :I I spend at least 5 hours a day on my computer and so I end up using my keyboard and mouse a ton. I have larger hands, so most mice give me horrible hand pains. I have been using my Cyborg R.A.T. 7 for about two years and I absolutely love it. It was kinda expensive but definitely worth it. I'd break a lot of mice and used to buy a $20 mouse every few months, so the R.A.T. has saved me money. I got an older, cheaper keyboard because I spent all my money on the mouse, but they keyboard has worked for me well enough. It's back-lit (with not many colors) and kinda smaller but works. If you're going to game or type often I'd recommend a mechanical keyboard like the Razer (it's spelled with an "e" for the company name...) Blackwidow Ultimate or Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth Edition. Mechanical is much much much much better in every way, and the Stealth Edition gets rid of the only con to mechanical, that being how incredibly loud and clicky the keys are. Logitech (according to 2 minutes of Googling) has one mechanical keyboard that is expensive as hell, but comes with a light. If you spend more time typing, buy a mechanical keyboard. If you have larger hands I can't recommend the R.A.T. 7 more.
PFFFFFFFFT 900 FPS is nothing compared to the beast I can put together. Just to give you an idea you'll need 2 jet engines to cool your pc.
As most people have said, go wired over wireless. It's better long term, and saves on batteries running out at an inconvenient time (As has happened to me many a time).
