schattenkrieg's ban appeal

I was banned for something i griefed somewhere at some point of time. I am sorry to that person who owned that house, statue, garden, fort, animals, and/or thing that i griefed. I most likely did not mean to destroy and/or put holes in whatever i destroyed or put holes in..

With that said, anyone mind telling me what exactly i griefed? I'm drawing blanks up in my old noggin here. If that's not what i was banned for well it says "dont grief" on the "why were you banned" thingy.

 

In game name "schattenkrieg" no capitals. Did i accidentally grief a shop? I remember buying iron in bulk from k9katz yesterday i probably accidentally placed something there.

 

hey schatt, i do not know whom banned you or for what exact issue, hopefully the mod/admin that did will let you know why and where, out of curiosity did you check the grief reports / finger pointing thread for anything regarding you. if your not there, then i cannot help while at work, and i definatly dont have time tonight to run through the logs and such to find the issue, as i work until 8pm tonight.

hopefully someone who knows whats up will let you know here in the next day or two.

 

He griefed my original home. It is a stone building with a half-dome top, with a spiral staircase of glass leading to another half-dome glass observation deck.
it is surrounded by flaming netherwrack and a tricky moat.

The first grief i found were a couple holes in the glass at ground level. I repaired those and overlooked the punishment for griefing in that instance as i was in a good mood at the time, and it was relatively minor.

Yesterday i was showing someone around my tower and found two more griefs by schatt, one of which caused the death of the player that was with me who then lost all his stuff in the flaming netherwrack and moat.

At that point i felt a ban was necessary.

Your appeal leads me to believe that you have griefed before, multiple times.

Why should I change your perma-ban to a temp-ban?

 

The only reason my appeal was like that was because i don't know why i was banned lol. I searched the forum looking for anything even stuff 2 months back. "dont grief" doesn't really give me any clues to what i did, except for i griefed something at some point of time and i was banned for it today.

I won't challenge the charges, i still don't remember them.

I think my perma ban should change to a temporary ban because in a little over a year this and my occasional trolling are the only complaints of my being on Shadecrest.

He's been trouble for a long time. He's been banned 2-3 times before. Keep that in mind. Griefing a building like that doesn't sound accidental.
