When 1.3 comes out you should add a place where people could come in, sell stuff, and then use the emeralds you got from selling things to buy stuff from the villagers! It's simple, and if anyone see's someone killing the villagers, the culprit should be banned from the server for... a week or two, and banned permanently from the market! I think you should have one of each type of villager and put them in their own little "booth." Then, when the villagers have traded their max, you just replace them with another villager. Also, I think each booth should have a name, like.. the farmer's booth would be named "Farmer's Market" and the butcher's booth would be named "Butcher Shop," and the blacksmith's shop would be names " Hardware Store," and the librarian's booth would be named "Library," (obviously), but I have NO idea what you would call the preacher's booth. P.s. Sorry if I wasn't supposed to start a new topic just to post a suggestion, I'm new at this! Hope you like my idea though, don't wanna be a waste of your time, you got enough to do anyways! -SuperToitle2001
I like the idea of having more NPCs on the server, especially interactive ones. They can be used to make the server seem far more 'alive'. For example, the spawn area would be much more interesting with librarians wandering around the library (kept in place by discrete barriers so they don't wander too far?) and banker NPCs working the Cash4gold kiosk. But I imagine it'd be fairly difficult to implement, especially the NPC merchant part, so I could understand if the admins didn't want to do it.
i agree that there sould be npcs but when 1.3 is out will the map update because emeralds are only found in extreme hills so the mapse need to update
