Voting "Game?"

Ok so I sawa post on the forums about a voting game. No prize though. Maybe at the end of every month the person who votes the most gets 500r or x amount of rupies. This will deffinately bring more votes in, something we need right now.

We already get rupies from voting, so when people need money the remember "hey, I can still vote for rupies, think il go do that." But if we have an actual contest, people will need to remember to vote every day. I think this is a great idea to add a reward and to encourage people to vote daily.

Some will still forget, but maybe we can get a few more votes with this.

 

this would be a great idea to use and would encourage people to vote to win the prize. but if you have multiple people that have all voted everyday would the prize be divided up?

 

I would say yes, that way we don't put too much more money into circulation...

yeah i won't be able to over Christmas break though. It's actually really hard to get all 9 because i have to connect to different internet connections. I have 3g on an iPad, my college internet connection, and a home wifi connection. So i normally get about 5 but if I'm lucky ill run into other campus wifi connections and neighborhood wifi that is not blocked. I wish i would have realized i could do this when it was 300r per vote

Nvm! It never worked for me, now it does. I'll be voting anonymously from every internet I connect to while I wait for "ThisDudeRiteHere" 's 24 hours to be up.

same! i usually vote 6 times a day, but 9 when i go to my grandparents house. I have a few usernames if you need

 

A thought similar to this crossed my mind a while back. I thought of it when viewing this link: http://mc.shadecrest.com/votecount/
Perhaps make a contest every month in which the top 5/10 voters get submitted. This could be as simple as a raffle, in which 1 out of the top 10 voters wins 500r every month. This would encourage people to vote frequently to be top on the list, but not discourage them if they are... lets say 15th on the list (they still have a good shot at getting to top 10). This is definitely a good idea.
