I recently turned on my Game Cube and decided to try out some of the games I used to play on it. I spent hours on Carmen San Diego and Maro Party, but non of them seemed as fun as they used to be (playing alone). Then I popped in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (2002). I spent the whole day re playing the game. I think the logs said I have put in 350+ hours on that game, which is the most by far out of any game I've played. After my game Cube decided to act up and make a funky noise, I decided to go get the latest Need for Speed Rivals game. After 6 hours of playing it I can say it's still a 10/10 game, just like the other ones I've played. EA, you god dun well this time (I will never forgive you for Origin). Even with the keyboard, steering is fun! Do any of you guys play Need for Speed Rivals, or any other?
Awesome to have another EA fan! (Maybe just nfs but whatevs) yeah I have rivals on PC and PS4, but have played it mostly on ps4. Sorry!
The only downside to the PC version is the 30 FPS cap... Why play it on PC if there is an FPS cap D: I might be getting a ps4 controller specifically for fifa and nfs on my PC, just because it feels a lot better. I honestly don't like EA that much just because of Origin, but they occasionally make some pretty fun games.
Haha the 30fps is the developer's, Ghost, fault. It makes no sense frankly. Ha I have a funny story about origin. My dad works for EA, and even when he's using origin he's complaining "Agh I hate this, why does it have to be so confusing." And he goes on and on mwuahaha. Even the EA workers don't like origin.
Titanfall was a shame. Great gameplay, but pretty much nothing else going for it except the idea. With only ten guns and taking like 4 hours to get to the max level, it got boring fast.
hopefully 2 will have a actual campaign, and a stronger multiplayer. althought just the gameplay is enough fo me to justify the $80 I spent on it and a season pass
