500x80 seems a bit small... maybe 600x100?

And font size would max at size Six,

And in case anyone missed it, I recommend this chrome extension to hide specific images (link for firefox). For firefox, make sure "src: <image url>" is checked, otherwise it'll block every embedded image on the forums.

 

I do find gifs in signatures pretty annoying when I have to wait for them to load before I can scroll down in a thread. And overly large images can certainly disrupt the flow when you're reading.

Instead of you guys adding more stupid rules, why don't you all just use some common sence when making your sig, Mabey think to yourself for a sec "hmmm... If someone has to see this every time I post, will they be annoyed? Will it make me look like a total nob?" if the answer is yes, then don't use the thing... Its that simple...

i can't even fathom why this is a problem, i have never seen a signature that bugs me or i think is too large

This is one of the many reasons i hate this place...

 

Slebert, I like you, but if you hate this place, why'd you stay?

 

I don't stay, I have left, I simply visit the forums when I'm bored at work to see if this place has returned to the greatness it once was, and I try to push it in the right direction every little while.
