A strongman needs to cross a wooden 30m bridge with a 300kg limit. He weighs 85kg. He is holding 3 crates filled with special weights, each weighing at 100kg, and taking up 3m3 space. How did he and his weights make it across the bridge in one trip without any vehicles or equipment without letting the crates touch the ground?
That didn't seen right to me but I guessed Moving on There are three switches in a room on the first floor and a lamp on the third floor. Each one is labeled On and Off. One (and only one) of the switches controls the lamp. There is no possible way for you to see whether the light is on or off from the first floor. You are alone in the house. You are allowed to turn on and off the switches as often and as long as you'd like. However, you can only go upstairs once to check on the status of the lamp. Which switch controls the lamp?
When I first saw a riddle like this is was gold spheres. While still strange it works better. They weren't 3 cubic meters though XD
I added that for 2 reasons: 1, so people would not slide them across the bridge, and 2, to throw someone off.
If the lamp contains a normal bulb that produces heat when turned on, you can turn on the 1st switch for 5 minutes or so then turn it off. Immediately turn on the 2nd light switch and run upstairs to check the light. If the light is on then it is the 2nd switch which controls the light. If it is off but the bulb is still hot/warm then it is the 1st switch. If it is off but cool then it is the 3rd. If the bulb is a fluorescent or LED bulb which gives off less heat then you may not be able to tell.
