Pocket Edition Update 0.8.0

Just saw this in my iPod updates.

oh fun, the multiplayer (LAN) is quite stable now as well.

 

Cool haven't tried the LAN yet. Was having trouble connecting to ipod 4 from my ipod 5 so hopefully that's fixed too.

Edit: Yep, fixed. Yay.

 

Ew, Minecraft Pocket edition!

 

I don't understand why they are trying so hard on for pocket edition. They are trying to sell a more long term game to an instant gratification audience.

 

Probs because it's:

A: Bonus revenue since MC is technically finished on pc.

B: Something to do to keep people interested in MC.

 

It reaches out to more casual gamers

 

I started on pocket edition and moved on to the full version.

LOL. I'm on the computer all day for work so I haven't really used it for gaming prior to Minecraft.
