I suppose technically it's fun with /summon command but oh well.

Ok, well this one you probably do need the command block for because you can write longer commands into a command block than you can into the normal chat box.

/summon Skeleton ~ ~1 ~ {Riding:{id:"EntityHorse",Type:4,Tame:1,SaddleItem:{id:329}},Equipment:[{id:261,tag:{ench:[{id:50,lvl:1},{id:48,lvl:5},{id:49,lvl:2}]}},{id:313},{id:312},{id:311},{id:310}]}

Gives you a diamond armoured skeleton, armed with flaming bow on a skeleton horse with saddle.

It occurs to me you could make a good mob spawner using a pressure plate to trigger a command block in a narrow tunnel. Basically when the last spawned mob crosses the pressure plate it will spawn the next. You could mix up a few different blocks so each mob triggers the next. Don't know if there are limitations on xp earned from summoned mobs?

 

Okie since command blocks are fun to use...how bout all mobs in a cheerleading move like the pyramid(don't think I spelt that right)
